Qatar Plastic Products Company W.L.L. is one of the biggest downstream companies in Qatar developing and manufacturing flexible packaging using polyethylene resins. 

The company was established on 19 September 1998 at a project cost of QR 42 million and a shared capital of QR 27 million. QPPC started commercial production in August 2000 and was inaugurated by His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah (the State of Qatar's Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry) in November 2000. Around 90% of the production is being sold to the local market while the balance is marketed in the other Gulf countries and in Europe. Located at Mesaieed Industrial City

QPPC is a private company owned by two shareholders. QAPCO 33.34%, QIMC 66.66%

    Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) Q.P.J.S.C. is one of the world's largest and most successful producers of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) - a basic plastic polymer that is derived from oil and natural gas.

    The main facilities consist of an Ethylene plant (cracker) with a production capacity of 840 kilo tonnes per annum (ktpa), three LDPE plants with a total combined production capacity of over 780 ktpa and a Sulfur plant with a production capacity of 70 ktpa.
